Vladimir Cherepanoff is a man of many talents and is not your traditional advertising art director – thank goodness I hear you say! Vlad was also possibly one of the first Sydney graffiti artists. He became a pioneer and mentor to many of his peers and in 1986 become the first Australian Graffiti artist to be commissioned to paint his own work. Always one step ahead, he formed his own Hip Hop Band when the rest of the country rocked to working class man. Continuing to move on, Vladimir has worked in a number of arenas, such as a design consultant on the King Gee Red Label since early 2003. His task was to create a street savvy fashion label out of an Australian icon. From 2003 - 2006 he worked on some of the most prominent brands and art projects from around the world. (Nike, 1/2 Doz. Collective, AGC concepts, FEIT International, Project 2010). Vladimir simply has the unmatched ability to transform concepts into finished products, press ads, TV commercials, branding, fresh online thinking, in fact the all-encompassing multi – disciplined creative mind.
