Case Study - Newcrest

Our Mission
Newcrest had the challenge of needing to fill 3 senior roles in different locations around Australia. Traditional media had not provided the results they were after. With an increased level of online newspaper readership combined with the ability to place ads in any section of the paper to enhance targeting, an online media strategy was proposed.

Action Plan
Digital Newspaper – www.theaustralian.com.au

A leaderboard advertisement was used in conjunction with a half page advertisement to roadblock pages in the Mining & Energy section of the online newspaper. For all other impressions the ads were delivered on pages by themselves.

Advertising Energy has gone on to produce two career focussed sites for Newcrest to drive appliations from candidates includuding graduates and vacation interns.

Mission Accomplished
The client received 64,416 impressions which resulted in 123 click throughs (0.19% success rate) to the relevant job descriptions on the Newcrest website. 

Success in filling 3 roles requiring top-level candidates.
